Matemática aplicada, estadística y rendimiento deportivo en el fútbol: una revisión sistemática

La presente investigación analiza la relación entre la matemática, la estadística, la planificación de juego, la organización táctica, la dinámica competitiva y el rendimiento deportivo en el fútbol. El estudio se desarrolló mediante una revisión sistemática de enfoque cualitativo y alcance descriptivo, siguiendo el modelo PRISMA 2020. Se revisaron 12 documentos académicos publicados entre 2013 y 2025, obtenidos de bases de datos y fuentes especializadas como Google Scholar, PubMed, Taylor & Francis, Springer, Frontiers, ACM Digital Library, Routledge y BMJ.
Los resultados evidencian que la matemática y la estadística permiten interpretar el juego de manera objetiva mediante indicadores como posesión del balón, pases completados, remates, probabilidad de gol, desplazamientos y valoración de acciones. Asimismo, se identificó que las estrategias tácticas basadas en datos contribuyen a optimizar la planificación táctica, la gestión estratégica del equipo y los procesos de toma de decisiones durante la competencia. Se concluye que el análisis matemático-estadístico no solo describe el rendimiento futbolístico, sino que también aporta herramientas útiles para optimizar el desempeño individual y colectivo.
