Análisis de las condiciones epidemiológicas, clínicas, sociodemográficas y geoespaciales de la población femenina de la localidad de Isarzama, mediante el análisis de la información obtenida del tamizaje para la enfermedad de Chagas

Resumen

La enfermedad de Chagas continúa constituyendo un problema de salud pública en Bolivia, especialmente en mujeres en edad reproductiva por el riesgo de transmisión congénita. El objetivo del estudio fue desarrollar y evaluar un modelo predictivo para la detección temprana y estratificación del riesgo de serorreactividad para Trypanosoma cruzi en mujeres de Isarzama, Cochabamba. Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo, observacional y transversal analítico con 326 participantes, integrando variables epidemiológicas, clínicas, sociodemográficas, ambientales, serológicas y geoespaciales. La serorreactividad alcanzó aproximadamente el 11 %. Los principales factores asociados fueron antecedente materno de Chagas, presencia de vinchucas, antecedentes familiares y vivienda de adobe. El modelo reportó sensibilidad de 94,4 %, especificidad de 91,8 %, exactitud de 92,6 % y AUC-ROC de 0,95. El análisis geoespacial permitió identificar sectores con mayor riesgo ambiental, mientras que el seguimiento digital mostró elevada asistencia a controles y continuidad del proceso. Se concluye que la integración de factores epidemiológicos, georreferenciación y seguimiento digital presenta potencial para fortalecer la priorización del tamizaje y la vigilancia epidemiológica en el primer nivel de atención.
