Resumen

During the second semester of 2021, the Educational Technology and Digital Culture Laboratory of the Faculty of Communications and Philology at the University of Antioquia conducted a diagnostic study on the use of strategies supported by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and virtual environments during the years 2020 and 2021, within undergraduate programs, in the context of remote education implemented in response to the health emergency caused by COVID-19. This research was carried out using a qualitative approach, framed within a constructivist and interpretative paradigm, and guided methodologically by design-based research. The findings reveal that, for the most part, both faculty and students transferred their traditional face-to-face practices to digital environments with minimal adjustments. However, some participants saw this situation as an opportunity to innovate and creatively explore the possibilities offered by cyberspace, as well as to rethink educational dynamics in light of a post-pandemic scenario. The outcomes of this study aim to contribute to academic reflection in the field and to inform the development of the Educational Project of the Faculty of Communications and Philology, which is currently under construction
