Tecnoestrés académico y estrategias de afrontamiento digital en estudiantes universitarios de la carrera de Educación

Resumen

Introducción: la digitalización de la educación superior ha intensificado las demandas tecnológicas sobre el estudiantado y ha situado el tecnoestrés académico como un problema de bienestar y de formación docente. El objetivo fue analizar los niveles de tecnoestrés académico y las estrategias de afrontamiento digital de estudiantes de la carrera de Educación, así como la relación entre ambas variables.

Metodología: se desarrolló un estudio cuantitativo, no experimental, transversal y de alcance descriptivo-correlacional. Participaron 165 estudiantes de una población de 190 (cobertura del 86.8 %), mediante muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Se aplicó un cuestionario tipo Likert de cinco niveles con 12 ítems de tecnoestrés académico (α = .904) y 8 de afrontamiento digital (α = .901), con validez de constructo examinada mediante análisis factorial exploratorio (KMO = .914). Los datos se analizaron con estadística descriptiva y pruebas no paramétricas.

Resultados: el tecnoestrés global alcanzó un nivel moderado (M = 3.07; DE = 0.90) y el afrontamiento digital un nivel medio-alto (M = 3.55; DE = 0.96). La dimensión más elevada fue ansiedad e inseguridad tecnológica (M = 3.42). Se identificó una correlación positiva moderada y significativa entre ambas variables (rho = .485; p < .001), confirmada por la asociación entre niveles (χ²(4) = 79.78; p < .001; V de Cramer = .492).

Conclusiones: el afrontamiento digital opera como respuesta reactiva ante demandas tecnológicas ya percibidas como elevadas y no como factor protector previo, lo que sugiere la necesidad de acciones institucionales de bienestar digital en la formación docente.
