Analysis of the intercultural content broadcast by Radio La Voz de la Confeniae and its impact on the San Jacinto community, Pastaza, in 2025.

Radio La Voz de la Confeniae 99.1 FM is one of the main milestones of the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of the Ecuadorian Amazon - Confeniae, an organization representing the indigenous peoples of the Amazon region. It is considered an instrument of struggle and resistance, raising awareness and informing about the realities of the Amazonian territory and giving voice to indigenous peoples in defense and equity of their rights. This research aims to reveal the impact of the programming in the San Jacinto del Pindo Commune, located in the province of Pastaza. For this purpose, surveys were applied to the population, interviews were conducted with community representatives and promoters of the media's creation, and finally, observation through monitoring of the broadcast programming. This study was conducted in said territory due to its geographical proximity to the radio's facilities and the organization's headquarters, as well as being a reference for the Kichwa nationality and its rich cultural and ancestral heritage, as well as the worldview of the 39 communities that comprise it. The analysis and interpretation of this research cover five axes: identity and conservation of the Kichwa language, community participation, the treatment of information on local issues, and the gender approach in the production of radio content. Additionally, it addresses the challenge faced by the community media outlet in the presence of digital media and the internet.
