Digital transformation has driven the adoption of health information systems aimed at improving clinical information management and optimizing healthcare processes. In the field of occupational health, many organizations still use physical records for the management of clinical records, which generates difficulties in accessing information, delays in care, and limitations in the generation of reports. The objective of this study was to analyze the design and implementation of a digital system for the management of the medical service in the company CAFESCA S.A.P.I. de C.V., through a case study focused on the digitization of the clinical documentation of the employees. The research was developed under an applied approach using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology, which allowed structuring the system development process in phases of analysis, design, construction and validation. The system was implemented using a Model-View-Controller architecture using ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure cloud services. The results show that the platform developed made it possible to centralize clinical records, record medical consultations, manage appointments and generate useful information for monitoring the occupational health of workers. The digitization of clinical records improved the availability of medical information, optimized the organization of the medical service and facilitated the generation of indicators for decision-making. It is concluded that the implementation of digital systems in business medical services constitutes an effective strategy to improve the management of clinical information and strengthen operational efficiency in organizational environments.
