Editorial Endogamy Policy

The journal adopts a policy to prevent editorial endogamy, in accordance with international best editorial practices and the ethical principles promoted by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), with the aim of ensuring editorial independence, academic diversity, and transparency in the publication process.

The participation of authors affiliated with the editorial team, academic committees, or the publishing institution shall not exceed 25% of the total articles published, considering either the two most recent issues or the last calendar year, as applicable.

Manuscripts submitted by members of the editorial team are, without exception, subject to a double-blind peer review process, managed by external editors and reviewers with no conflicts of interest. Such authors shall not take part in any stage of the editorial process of their own submissions.

Reviewer selection prioritizes institutional, geographical, and disciplinary diversity as a guarantee of objectivity, academic rigor, and scientific quality.

Through this policy, the journal reaffirms its commitment to editorial ethics, academic plurality, and scientific excellence.
